YES-O

     What is YES-O? It is Youth for Environment in Schools Organization or should I say YES-O is an organization in school which the members of  this organization should keep the environment clean.
                              


     Our school coordinators called all the morning classed Grade 3-4 students were are called to our school's covered court. 





     Our Coordinators showed the students different types of waste like: Recyclable, Non-Boidegradable, Biodegradable, Paper, and Plastic. They also taught the children Proper Waste Disposal or Proper Waste Segregation.




     Not only did they taught the students how to throw waste properly they also taught them how to sing by using the song Kapaligiran by Asin. The song was about how our planet is slowly changing and how we people are the cause of it. It declares that children that are born in this generation can not inhale fresh air anymore.

                                      
 


     Even tho only the YES-O President (which is me) is the only officer that attended (It's because most of the officers are Grades 5-6) the school coordinators still managed to continue the program with the help of some Grade 3 & 4 teachers. We YES-O officers might not be the most active organization in our school, we still manage to clean our school properly with the help of other students and teachers.

    I hope that this next school year the new YES-O President will be responsible and worthy enough for his/her position. I also wish them good luck and be a great role model to other students. It's not that I was saying that I was a great leader but at least I tried my best.
